Marty Bakko Fundraiser and Surly Brewery tour

Join us Saturday, May 5th from 6 - 10 PM at the Surly Brewery for a fundraiser to endow the Marty Bakko Spirit Award and honor Marty's legacy to the Ultimate community.

Marty Bakko was a skilled Ulitmate player and a great guy to hang out with after a game.  He got along famously with teammates, fans and opposing players. But he also gave a lot back to the sport – mentoring younger players and serving as team captain. He loved the sport of Ultimate Frisbee and played it for over 20 years.

Now it's our turn to honor Marty's memory and fully fund the permanent trophy and annual  spirit award founded by USA Ultimate which is given to one player each year from the Masters Division who:
